Pilates & Prosecco in Epping – A Relaxing Night of Movement, Mindfulness and Community

Pilates & Prosecco in Epping – A Relaxing Night of Movement, Mindfulness and Community

Have you ever wished for a Pilates class that felt like more than just exercise - something social, uplifting, and restorative? Pilates & Prosecco in Epping

On Friday 10th October, right here in Epping, I’m hosting one of my favourite events of the year: Pilates & Prosecco. And before you ask - no, you don’t have to drink Prosecco or have ever done Pilates before to join in! This evening is about so much more: it’s about movement, connection, peace, and taking time for yourself.

What Is Pilates & Prosecco?

I first created Pilates & Prosecco a few years before lockdown, in collaboration with the lovely Olivia, then a priest at St John the Baptist Church in Epping. From the very first session, it was clear this wasn’t just another Pilates class - it was something truly special.

The event begins with a gentle, flowing Pilates session suitable for all levels. We move, we breathe, we stretch, and we create space - physically and mentally. And it’s all the nice bits of Pilates without so many of the difficult, groany bits! At the end, there’s always time to pause, relax, and reset with mindful breathing or a short guided meditation.

The venue itself is calm and beautiful - the perfect place to slow down, feel present, and focus on yourself. And when the class ends, the conversation begins. We share a drink (alcoholic or not), chat, laugh, and connect. It’s a space where Pilates becomes more than movement - it becomes community.

Why This Pilates Event in Epping Is So Special

For me, Pilates has always been about connection first. Yes, it’s brilliant for your body, but it’s also about the conversations, the friendships, the small acts of kindness that happen when people come together regularly.

It’s the “How was your holiday?” chats, the checking in when someone’s been quiet, the cakes brought to class, the welcoming of new faces and the bittersweet goodbyes when someone moves on.

A Celebration of Community, Connection and Wellbeing

Here in Epping, where things have felt a little unsettled lately, that sense of togetherness feels more important than ever. Someone recently reminded me: “When leadership is absent, community matters even more.” Pilates & Prosecco is my little way of creating that space - for you, for me, for all of us.
