The BIG FIT Christmas List 2025: Fitness, Pilates & Wellbeing Gift Ideas
The BIG FIT Christmas List 2025: Fitness, Pilates & Wellbeing Gift Ideas
If Mariah’s defrosting, then it’s officially time…
I’m ready to reveal the BIG FIT Christmas List (updated for 2025) - your go-to guide for fitness gifts, Pilates presents, wellbeing treats and brilliant local finds.
With Black Friday rolling on for what feels like a fortnight and Advent starting this Sunday, now is the perfect time to get inspired. I’ve pulled together a mix of things I love, things my Pilates and fitness community swear by, and thoughtful gift ideas for people who want to move more, feel good and stay well this winter.
If you’ve got your own wish-list or want me to craft a “subtle hint” for your loved ones… send it over. I’ve got you.
🎄 The BIG FIT Christmas List 2025
Fitness gifts, Pilates presents & wellbeing treats that actually get used
1. New Workout Gear (always top of the list!)
There’s nothing like fresh leggings in January to boost motivation.
YogaLeggs
YogaLeggs almost closed their doors this year but were saved by very loyal customers who begged them to stay - and I’m glad.
I love:
-
Pocket leggings for gym sessions and forest walks
-
Yoga leggings for Pilates and classes (the high waist actually stays up!)
Budget-friendly option: Vinted
If you’re gifting on a budget, look up:
Sweaty Betty Power Leggings (or shorts).
Tons listed as NWT (new with tags), and they last forever.
Local to Epping: GripandFlow Grip Socks
A new Epping business with gorgeous, high-quality Pilates socks.
I’ve got a few pairs in stock - and can get 10% off + free pickup from me.
2. Practical Training Gifts
Perfect for the gym-goer, the runner, the “I’m-starting-in-January” person - or the one who’s already committed.
Home or Gym Training Essentials
-
A pair of 5kg dumbbells (brilliant starting point)
-
Trainers - I’m loving the Mizuno Wave Horizons after years of Asics
-
Trail shoes for forest walks/runs
-
Waterproof socks (game-changer for winter!)
-
Flip belt / running vest / bum bag
-
Fluorescent running gear for dark evenings
-
Running hat (Runr are great)
-
Waterproof cap - especially good for glasses wearers
-
Goodr sunglasses for sunny winter runs
-
Weights rack or kit bag (AKA: the gift of tidiness)
3. Pilates & Yoga Gifts
Yoga or Pilates Mat
A brilliant practical gift.
I love the YogaMad extra thick mats for comfort and durability — Pilates versions available too.
Eco option: cork mats
Tip: get a mat bag to keep it clean and tidy.
4. Accessories That Make Life Easier
Stay-warm, stay-hydrated items
-
Insulated flask for hot drinks (Bru Cup – another great Epping brand if you'd prefer to avoid Amazon)
-
Named water bottle (so many get left behind in class!)
-
DrinkPod mug - leak-free and bag-friendly
Winter comfort favourites
-
Work-from-home fleece - Uniqlo and M&S are excellent
5. Little Treats (perfect stocking fillers)
-
Cacao powder or nibs
-
Coffee press for one
-
NutriBullet or Ninja blender
-
Face masks and pamper products
-
Neal’s Yard muscle soaks & balms
-
L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil (my absolute favourite)
-
Neal’s Yard Wild Rose Balm or a bespoke balm from Claire Blackie Aromatherapy
-
Bath salts for cosy winter evenings
6. Experiences That Mean Something
If you want to support someone’s fitness and wellbeing journey (or give yourself a head start in January), consider:
Fit School 90-Day Pass
A genuine, life-changing gift.
This isn’t just “giving fitness” - it’s saying I believe in you.
Perfect for:
-
people who need structure
-
new mums
-
marathon trainees
-
anyone who needs accountability with kindness
Other experience ideas
-
A Spa Day
-
A local wellbeing workshop
-
A Pilates class bundle
-
A night out (yes, joy counts as wellbeing)
7. Good Causes That Deserve a Christmas Boost
Supporting local and national charities is always in style - especially at Christmas.
This year we've been supporting Care4Calais offering practical help for refugees and Asylum seekers.
St Clare Hospice providing essential, compassionate end of life and at home care.
And Shelter - especially at Christmas. Fit School members Hayley and Tracy are both taking part in events this December.
What’s the best fitness gift you’ve ever received?
I’d love to know — especially the ones that genuinely changed your health, motivation or confidence.
Share your ideas and we’ll add them to the 2025 list!

The BIG FIT Christmas Giving List
Perhaps you are in the spirit of giving this year.
There are a few local opportunities to give:
Care4Calais
Fit Schooler Di is co-ordinating collection efforts for Care4Calais. The charity is collecting clothes and shoes for children of all ages on 24th November to give to families currently housed in local facilities. There’ll be a later collection for adults. If you have clothes in good condition which you’d like to donate please let me know. I’m happy to take collections in class.
3food4u
Local food banks release ‘needs’ weekly. 3food4u
Festival of the Christmas Trees
St John’s Church will be hosting its popular festival of the Christmas Trees from December 1st-Monday 4th December again this year. It’s a great opportunity to support local charities (monies raised go to nominated charities) and it’s super festive too.
