Introduction to Weights

We often get asked about getting started with resistance training.

It’s pretty easy to get out on a bike, walk or run but when it comes to using weights or your own body weight to condition and strengthen your muscles it can be hard to know where to start.

In this hour long class, Karen will offer basic instruction and coach you through three different conditioning circuits you can incorporate in your home workout.

You’ll all get a weight to take home too, so you can easily re-create the workouts at home.

No experience is required although before you start it would be a good idea to check out Karen’s short video series on squatting for your pelvic floor. It’s a great introduction to squatting.
