Active Epping

#ActiveEpping

Will you join us for #ActiveEpping week 12th-18th June

We're encouraging as many Epping residents as possible to get outside, get moving and inspire each other. We'll also be pulling together as a community to help raise vital funds to regenerate Lower Swaines Recreation Ground for our young people, children and town.

#ActiveEpping is part of a week long challenge where local fitness businesses, Epping Forest District Council sports and children's activity providers will become Epping's Activity Challenge Leaders.

We'll be sharing lots of opportunities to join in live classes around Epping, with some being held on Lower Swaines Recreation ground.

Plus there'll be a dedicated #ActiveEpping YouTube playlist so you can get your groove on at home.

There'll be classes for all ages and abilities throughout the week.

If you'd rather #WalkEpping click here or you can sign up to both using the button below.

Epping Playground Association

We’re a local, parent volunteer led registered charity, working with Epping Town Council’s playground committee to help improve Epping’s play areas. Our initial focus is the Lower Swaines Recreation Ground in North Epping. We’ve agreed on plans and equipment and have a fundraising target of £120,000. We hope to achieve this by Summer 2022 in order to provide a much needed play area for local children and the community of Epping.
